Crafted from a blend of 50% Meunier, 40% Chardonnay, and 10% Pinot Noir, complemented by 50% reserve wines, this champagne presents a captivating bright yellow color with a subtle golden hue. Its aromatic profile is a delightful medley of fresh fruits, including apple, Mirabelle plum, and lemon, accompanied by nuanced notes of cut hay. The palate is a harmonious interplay of joyous brightness and lush vivacity, revealing a delightful fruit pastille and concluding with an enduring finish. The dosage of 6 gr/L adds a nuanced touch to this engaging and beautifully balanced champagne.

Winemaking:Fermented over 12 days with indigenous yeasts and experiencing natural malolactic fermentation in stainless-steel vessels, followed by a 24-month second fermentation in the bottle. The disgorging process took place in July 2023.

Viticulture:Embracing a diverse range of terroirs across seven distinct crus and spanning over 45 plots, our Chavot-Courcourt Pinot Meunier thrives in chalky soils near the Côte des Blancs, Vinay Chardonnay flourishes in clayey soils with a south-facing exposure, and Moussy Pinot Noir draws its distinctive character from sandy soils.

Since 1847, the passion for the vine has been passed down from generation to generation in the MICHEL Family. In the heart of the Champagne region, a few kilometers from Épernay, in the village of Moussy, JM vineyard of 12 hectares of vines is planted with Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.. On the estate, the work is shared: Olivier takes care of the vineyard and winemaking, Florence welcomes customers and manages shipments to France or abroad. As Récoltant-Manipulant (R.M.), Olivier MICHEL produces his wines entirely in his own facilities and vinifies exclusively the harvest of his vineyard.
