From the hillside slopes of the Blaye-Côtes de Bordeaux region, the Hubert family’s Château Peybonhomme-Les-Tours introduces L’Atypic 2019 – a rebellious and richly expressive Bordeaux red labelled Vin de France due to its non-traditional Malbec-dominant blend. The grapes come from limestone and clay soils of old-vine plots (40 years old), are wild-yeast fermented in concrete vats, matured without new oak, bottled unfiltered and with minimal intervention. The result is a wine of dark cherry and anise spice, nettle herb nuance, super-fine tannins and mouth-watering freshness. Offers both depth and drinkability at an exceptional value.
