Winemaking:Partly whole bunch pressing is followed by natural fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged on the full yeast for approximately 9 months and bottled unfiltered, with minimal sulfur added.

Viticulture:The Sausal region's soils are austere, primarily composed of Paleozoic slates, with pockets of shell limestone, particularly prevalent in the Flamberg vineyard area.
