Sardinian Vermentino entices with yellow blooms, apple aromas, and hints of honeyed almond. Delight in flavours of apricot, pear, and creamy undertones, complemented by Mediterranean herbs and a crisp mineral finish.

Winemaking Style:Innovative

Harvest:Counter-espalier trains vines flat against supports. Guyot pruning retains specific canes and buds. Together, they optimise growth, sunlight, and grape quality.

Winemaking:The wine is softly pressed, with must cooling and decanting, ferments at 16-18°C, and then ages in stainless steel at 12°C for 3 months.

Viticulture:The Udus vineyard in Uta, Sardegna, Italy spans 10 hectares, boasts a typical Mediterranean climate, features sandy soil enriched with clay, uses Guyot planting, and practices organic farming without pesticides.

Fausto, a man who pursued the memory of his father, inherited not land but dedication, respect, and a love for vineyards and their bounty. Lucia embraced her husband's dream, and together they sought the perfect plot of land where Udus would be rooted. Their children, driven by a desire to reconnect with their heritage, aim to deepen and strengthen those roots. From Udus's inception, they've committed to organic wine production, and today, their wines are entirely organic. In their vineyards, synthetic chemicals and pesticides are strictly avoided. Their method is not just a choice but a way of life. To return to the vine means embracing a slower pace and reconnecting with one's origins, to rediscover and rekindle them. This is how they perceive wine - a union of man and earth, intertwined in deep mutual respect.
