Hailing from a Burgundian lineage, Romain Bouchard, a ninth-generation winemaker, departed from his ancestral home to establish Val des Rois in the Valréas terroir in 1965. Here, 10 hectares of vines flourish on stony slopes, amidst deep and fresh clays, imparting a harmonious acidity and the delicate tannin finesse unique to this appellation. The estate proudly carries the certification of Organic Farming by Ecocert and abstains from the use of any synthetic products. In a striking garnet hue, this wine offers a symphony of aromas, including notes of black cherry, blueberry, and chocolate. It masterfully maintains the signature equilibrium of freshness and potency, a hallmark of the Valréas appellation, all while graced with the finesse of supple tannins.
