This family-owned winery has deep roots, dating back to its establishment in 1683, spanning an impressive 13 generations. The Dauny family took a significant step towards sustainability by transitioning their 1.45 hectares of vines to organic farming back in 1964. One of their standout creations is Les Caillottes, a wine of remarkable complexity. It presents a symphony of floral notes, hints of currant bush, gooseberries, and the invigorating scent of freshly cut grass. On the palate, it embodies all the quintessential characteristics of Loire Sauvignon Blanc: a refreshing and fruity profile with a refined touch. It's graced with robust minerality and precise acidity, truly capturing the essence of the region.
