For over a decade, Quentin and Louis Modat have dedicated themselves to cultivating organic and biodynamic grapes. They are on a continuous quest for improvement, pioneering innovative viticultural practices centered around the well-being of the vines. Their methods include cover crops, fostering biodiversity, pastoralism, gentle pruning, traditional grafting, and natural plant-based treatments. The Domaine Modat Comme Avant 2016 greets the senses with red fruit aromas and subtle earthy undertones. This wine boasts a light, silky texture that complements its refreshing and spicy palate. It's an approachable wine with fine tannins that contribute to its overall elegance. For a perfect pairing, savor it alongside grilled red meat. Don't forget, decanting this wine can bring out its best qualities.

Mulberries and a touch of campfire smoke on the nose. Intensely dark, purple-black fruit with the tang of pomegranate molasses and the sweetness of spiced dates. The tannins have the reassuring and comforting grip of someone holding your hand, tightly but not squeezing. Wonderful freshness in the clean finish – it makes me think of an open window letting in a cool breeze on a hot day.
