Tasting Notes

The nose opens with pure, vibrant Riesling aromas and an understated complexity, a touch of lemon rind and peach notes, also orange blossom florals. The sweet entry on the palate quickly gives way to a mouth-watering, citrus-infused taste sensation and a flavour density that is balanced with cleansing, ripe acidity and subtle flintstone minerality to give a long and 'moreish' finish. And with only 7% alcohol, you can indeed enjoy the extra glass.

Deliciously sweet (92 g/l RS) riesling that builds exquisite sweet-and-sour tension. A delicately luscious wine with saline, oyster-shell, citrus, lime juice, and a suggestion of apricot and honey. Should age very well indeed.

In the late 1980s, Georg Fromm and Hätsch Kalberer came together to establish FROMM Winery. Their official winemaking journey began in 1992 with the planting of the first vines.
