Hannes and Petra Harkamp live by the motto 'Respectful, subtle - moving.' Amidst the picturesque vineyards of Sausal in southern Styria, they tend to 20 hectares of vines, committed to biodynamic principles with Demeter certification. Hannes Harkamp's mastery shines through in his elegant bottle-fermented Sekts and vibrant white wines, all crafted with biodynamic viticulture. This Pinot Blanc impresses with its liveliness, which reveals its Sausal origins. It is yellow-fruity and spicy with hints of ripe pear and pineapple on the palate. It is very elegant and impresses with its lightness and freshness.

Winemaking:Partly whole bunch pressing is followed by natural fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine ages on the full yeast for approximately 9 months and is then bottled unfiltered, with minimal sulfur added.

Viticulture:The Sausal region's soils are austere, primarily composed of Paleozoic slates, with pockets of shell limestone, particularly prevalent in the Flamberg vineyard area.

Food Pairing:Grilled Chicken, Caesar salad, Cheddar and apple grilled cheese, Sesame ginger chicken, Pesto pasta.
