Hailing from a Burgundian lineage, Romain Bouchard, a ninth-generation winemaker, departed from his ancestral home to establish Val des Rois in the Valréas terroir in 1965. Here, 10 hectares of vines flourish on stony slopes, amidst deep and fresh clays, imparting a harmonious acidity and the delicate tannin finesse unique to this appellation. The aromatic bouquet of this wine is adorned with hints of citrus, exotic fruits, and white flowers. Its creamy texture caresses the palate, delivering a delicate touch of crushed stones minerality that lingers in a long and persistent aftertaste.
