Château Micalet Haut‑Médoc 2017, from organically farmed vineyards in Cussac‑Fort‑Médoc, sits on deep gravel soils over clay and limestone, fostering ripe, expressive grapes from 35‑year‑old vines. This elegant blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot is barrel‑aged for 12 months, revealing a powerful yet balanced profile with aromas of cherry, plum, black pepper, and subtle cigar-box notes. On the palate, it is supple and structured, layered with dark fruit, gentle spice, and a touch of vanilla, finishing long and refined.

The wine is aged in oak barrels to develop complexity and structure, allowing the fruit and terroir to shine with minimal intervention.

Viticulture:Located in Cussac‑Fort‑Médoc, Château Micalet’s vineyards sit on gravelly soils with clay and limestone, providing excellent drainage and heat retention that produce ripe, expressive grapes.
