Storlond 2018 is a stunning ruby elixir, unveiling captivating scents of berries, plums, and cherries, intertwined with hints of pepper, sweet spices, blood oranges, and delicate balsamic notes. This full-bodied delight offers a rich, savoury experience with balanced freshness and fine tannins, crowned by exquisite minerality and a lingering finish.

Wine Ageing:20 months in used large French oak barrels.

Winemaking Style:Minimal intervention

Harvest:Hand harvested in small 15kg crates first week of October.

Winemaking:After the spontaneous fermentation thanks to indigenous yeasts it remains on the skins for about 4 weeks. Ageing takes place in used barrels for about 20 months. The wine is then bottled without filtration with the use of minimal sulphites.

Viticulture:Merlot vineyard boasts lakeside exposure with rich gravel and limestone soil. Meanwhile, Cabernet Sauvignon vines (up to 30 years) sit at 300m above sea level in "Barleith," featuring southeast exposure, lake views, and dolomitic limestone gravel soil.
