Tasting Notes

“Picnic” pays tribute to the proprietor’s grandfather, S.E.D. Neill, a wine merchant whose likeness graces the label. Crafted in an approachable and expressive style, it opens with lifted aromatics of redcurrant, wild herbs and delicate purple florals. The palate is supple and finely textured, with silky tannins framing a core of vibrant fruit, carrying through to a persistent and elegant finish.
