Gustavshof
Gustavshof, located at the heart of the Rheinhessen region, approximately 30 kilometers south of Mainz, is currently under the stewardship of the fourth generation of the Roll family, led by Andreas Roll. The farm was originally established by Gustav Becker, the great-grandfather of the current owner, in 1924, and it remains a symbolic cornerstone of the winery. In 1976, Andreas's father made a significant decision to plant their first red vines, marking the inception of wine production. The entire family is deeply engaged in the winery, sharing a common commitment to preserving the soil and vines, which results in the creation of high-quality and exquisite wines. The vineyards of Gustavshof Winery adorn the elevated hills of Rheinhessen, encompassing a sprawling 45-hectare expanse. All farming is carried out without the use of chemicals and fertilizers, with nearly all tasks being executed by hand to ensure the quality of the grapes. Their vineyard boasts a selection of international grape varieties, including Riesling, Pinot Gris, and Spätburgunder.
