Since 1985, Padroggi-La Piotta has embodied a family's wine passion, echoing their grandfather's footsteps while embracing sustainable, ethical practices, and earning an organic certification by 2005. Straw yellow with golden glimmers, this Moscato captures the essence of sun-ripened yellow peaches in its aromatic bouquet. Every sip is a harmonious blend of sweetness and freshness, elegantly balanced and finely textured.

Harvest:Machine harvested first two weeks of September.

Winemaking:After a careful selection of the grapes and the crushing and destemming, the winemaking process known as "cryomaceration" takes place: the grapes are placed in a special tank for about 12 hours at a temperature of 6-8 degrees Celsius. After a gentle pressing, the must undergoes fermentation at a controlled temperature.

Viticulture:The Oltrepò Pavese benefits from a mild climate influenced by the sea, rivers, and varied soils: marl, limestone, sand, and clay. Renowned for its Pinot Nero and sparkling wines, it's crossed by the 45th parallel, the renowned "wine parallel", linking esteemed wine regions globally.

The name "Piotta" likely originates from early Piedmontese settlers in this region, signifying "stone," which abounds in the Oltrepo Pavese fertile soil. Founded in 1985 by Luigi Padroggi "La Piotta" carries forward the distinguished winemaking legacy of the Padroggi family. The vineyards, averaging 30 years in age, yield aromatic whites and robust reds. Notably, a 1930 Pinot Grigio vine planting still thrives, a testament to our unwavering commitment to tradition and the land.
