Poggiotondo

Nestled between Florence and Pisa in the heart of Tuscany, Poggiotondo's wines epitomize the essence of the Chianti region. Alberto and Alessandra Antonini cultivate their vineyards using organic farming practices, aiming to maintain a harmonious balance with nature. Their vision is to produce wines that truly reflect and honor their distinct terroir. Benefiting from a Mediterranean climate, calcareous soil, and an elevation of 100 meters, their 28 hectares of organic vineyards emphasize native grape varieties like Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Colorino, and a hint of Trebbiano, staying true to the classic "Chianti Recipe." These elements converge to craft wines bursting with vigor and purity. Poggiotondo has been organically certified since the 2014 vintage.
