Tasting Notes

Situated in Savigny-lès-Beaune, to the north of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Jean-Michel Giboulot proudly manages 12 hectares of vineyards across the finest appellations, including Beaune 1er Cru, Pommard, Savigny 1er Cru, and Savigny-lès-Beaune, with a predominant focus on Pinot Noir. The Savigny‑les‑Beaune 1er Cru “Aux Gravains” 2022 is a classic, elegant Burgundy Pinot Noir, offering a refined bouquet of red and dark fruits such as cherry, blackberry, and raspberry, complemented by floral violet notes and subtle spice, with a medium-bodied, supple palate featuring delicate tannins, fresh acidity, and pure fruit, finishing elegantly with gentle spice and a touch of earthy minerality that highlights the terroir rather than oak, resulting in a balanced, finesse-driven wine.
