Tasting Notes

Janu' stands as a magnificent Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Riserva, undergoing a unique double aging process in new barrels. The initial 8-month passage in new oak barrels is followed by another 8 months in new barrels, yielding a result that surpasses expectations. This ruby red ink-colored wine, adorned with violet reflections, captivates with a nose brimming with white chocolate, coffee, cherry, hints of tobacco, and caramel. The fruit component remains vivid, and on the palate, Janu' is akin to slicing through a full, creamy body with robust tannins, ensuring an infinite taste persistence.

The vines are cultivated using the spurred cordon trellising system, with a limited average yield of about 6 tonnes per hectare.
