Beconcini

Deep in the heart of Tuscany, the story of Pietro Beconcini winery unfolds, a testament to family, courage, and tradition. Originating in the 1950s when the family liberated themselves from sharecropping, this winemaking legacy spans generations. Leonardo's passion ignited in the 1990s, leading to their inaugural Sangiovese vintage in 1995. Eva joined in 1997, and together, they embarked on a quest to craft wines as clear as their land and as distinct as each vintage. Amidst their journey lies an ancient secret, some mysterious unknown vine marked with an "X" on its trunk, which, over time, revealed itself as Tempranillo. Today, years of cultivation have shaped a unique clone named after the Beconcini family.
