Tasting Notes

Situated in Savigny-lès-Beaune, to the north of the Côte de Beaune, Domaine Jean-Michel Giboulot proudly manages 12 hectares of vineyards across the finest appellations, including Beaune 1er Cru, Pommard, Savigny 1er Cru, and Savigny-lès-Beaune, with a predominant focus on Pinot Noir. This Pommard exemplifies the masculine and structured character that is synonymous with this renowned appellation. The wine is already a delight to the senses, offering notes of blackberry, blueberry, and gooseberry, with undertones of cherry stone, plum, and blackberry. As it matures, it evolves into a realm of leather, chocolate, and a subtle hint of pepper. This wine finds its perfect companion in hearty poultry dishes, enhancing the dining experience with its robust elegance.
