Tasting Notes

The story of Domaine Rotier unfolds back in 1975, a time when Alain Rotier's parents embarked on a mission to revive a nearly forsaken vineyard. Deeply committed to environmental values, they made a pivotal decision to transition to organic farming in 2005. Today, Alain and Francis stand as fervent champions of Gaillac's unique grape varieties, including Braucol, Duras, and Loin de l'il, all deeply rooted in their passion for terroir. This red wine form the South-West of France, This wine boasts a deep, enchanting dark purple hue and entices the senses with a fruity bouquet, where scents of cassis and cherry harmoniously blend with hints of liquorice, pepper, and various spices. On the palate, it reveals its full-bodied richness, supported by well-defined tannins, culminating in a delicately fruity finish that lingers gracefully.
