Harvest:The grapes are hand-harvested in small 15kg crates during the last week of August.

Winemaking:Pre-fermentative cryomaceration, soft pressing, fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks. The wine remains on the fine lees inside the tank until bottling.

Viticulture:Located in the southeastern area of the Garda morainic amphitheater, the hills, stemming from glacial deposits between Verona and Lake Garda, boast variable soils composed of calcareous clay mixed with gravel, smooth rocks, and sand.

Food Pairing:Asparagus risotto, Grilled sea bass, Grilled barramundi, Caprese salad, Pasta dish with pecorino cheese and black pepper, Zucchini and mint salad, Pan-fried trout, Pan-fried salmon.

In 1975, the Bricolo family laid the foundation for what would become the renowned GORGO Company. Today, Roberta is at the helm of this exceptional estate spans 53-hectares with grape varieties like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Pink Muscat were planted, aiming to craft a diverse range of elegant and distinctive wines. Nestled in the morainic lands formed during the glaciers' retreat east of Lake Garda, the Gorgo Wine Estate graces the undulating hills above the Padana plain. The soil here, with its whitish hue, is a blend of rock fragments, pebbles, humus, and silt, boasting a high concentration of calcium carbonate and an elevated pH level.
