Superistiran, an exquisite blend of organic Refosco, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, presents a deep ruby shade. It captivates with notes of raspberry, black currant, and dark chocolate, testament to handpicked precision. Crafted using ancient organic methods, wild yeasts, and oak aging, its exclusivity is underlined by just 4,400 bottles produced.

Winemaking:The wine was fermented with wild yeasts following age old traditional organic practices, HADO science and aged in oak barrels.

Viticulture:This area is mostly a limestone rocky plateau slightly inclined towards the sea so that from the sea coast, which is low and very indented (many islands and islets), it rises slightly to the average altitude of approximately 200 to 300 m.

Food Pairing:Filet mignon with a red wine reduction sauce, BBQ pork ribs with a smoky barbecue sauce, Osso Buco, Braised Ox Cheeks, Gruyère cheese fondue with bread and vegetables, Miso-glazed lamb cutlets.

Like many tales, Peter Polič's story started with an immediate passion. His journey began with the 2013 harvest, the moment he took ownership of the property and harvested its grapes for the first time. Peter is guided by a principle: produce for others what you'd desire for yourself, and never craft a wine you wouldn't drink. Embracing biodynamic practices, his organic offerings stand testament to the synergy between humans and nature. The process is a continuum for Peter: from seedlings evolving into grapevines, from grapes transforming into wine, and from wine connecting to individuals. While many vineyards are heirlooms handed down through the ages, every legacy has its inception. Polič Estate Truške represents a nascent property penning its initial chapters, steered by Peter Polič, an energetic individual eager to share his narrative. Over the last seven years, Peter's estate has morphed into a hub where innovative research and technology are both conceptualized and trialed.
