Pale salmon colour with rose hues. Fresh aromas of red berry, cranberry, and redcurrant are complemented by savoury mineral characters of flinty and struck match. Red berry fruit flavours carry onto the palate and combine with a dry, savoury, soft chalky texture.

Winemaking:Grapes were gently whole bunch pressed, then the juice was pressed to tank. Fermented in seasoned French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. The wine remained on yeast lees in barrel and tank for 3 months prior to racking, stabilisation and bottling. The final blend comprises 44% Shiraz, 28% Nero d’Avola, 17% Mourvèdre and 11% Grenache.

Viticulture:Shiraz, Grenache, Nero d'Avola and Mourvèdre from our Tellurian vineyard growing in Cambrian soils formed over 500 million years ago. Deep, rich, decomposed greenstone rock and limestone with soil depths up to 2m allow roots to reach deep, while relatively low fertility controls vigour and yield.

Food Pairing:Prosciutto and melon, bruschetta, sashimi, caprese salad, Pad Thai, Thai green curry, Vietnamese fresh spring rolls, Szechuan prawns

The Wine Front - Campbell Mattinson

Very good release. Pale copper-orange in colour, dry style, frisky and long. Not a great deal of flavour, in preference of sheer refreshment, but there’s just enough here. This has me reaching for more.

The Real Review - Stuart Knox

Light to medium onion-skin blush in the glass. Golden apple and bacon-fat aromas. Light on the tongue, the acidity is bright and refreshing and it contrasts with a deeper smoky note that flows throughout. A fuzz of tannins dries out the medium-length finish well

Halliday Companion - Jeni Port

shiraz/nero d'Avola/mourvèdre/grenache. Hand-picked fruit, whole-bunch pressed then fermented in seasoned French oak and stainless-steel tanks. Maturation on yeast lees in barrel and tank for 3 months. Pale blush/pink hue. The blend of 4 varieties is slightly unusual, the result is subtle red fruits, bramble, musk. Juicy with a touch of confection and strawberry cream. Keeps it simple and fresh and for the now.
