Tasting Notes

Petit Verdot is a late-ripening variety, normally associated with Bordeaux (where it is used in small quantities for blending), and ripens more reliably in Italy’s warmer climate. Intense and elegant nose, that opens with a hint of green pepper balanced by a sweet note of vanilla, lavender; then plum, sour cherry, pepper and liquorice. The palate is full-bodied and well-structured with flavours of ripe plum, vanilla, leather and spice finish. Taste orchestrated by perfectly integrated tannins in synergy with freshness, giving it depth and liveliness.

Viticulture:Terra Argillosa extends over six hectares and wines are the result of never-ending research for purity. Vineyards are 180 metres above sea level, with a dense structure of about 5500 stumps per hectare.
