Reviews and Accolades

The Wine Front - Mike Bennie

Super creamy, mousse-like texture with high sense of sweetness, Parisian almonds, pineapple, vanilla. It’s flamboyant and fun, has some pretty tight and refreshing acidity in the core, but it doesn’t feel overly refreshing, if you get my gist. A boozey, woozy, soft fizz. Fun, I guess you could say.

Vin de Soif

Alistair Blackwell and Tobias Ansted are the driving forces behind Vin De Soif. They have curated a selection of limited-production wines with a strong focus on minimal intervention, organic farming, and Rhone grape varieties. Vin De Soif aims to produce enjoyable and playful wines perfect for leisurely Sunday sipping. Vin De Soif is a small-batch winemaking project dedicated to creating well-crafted, organically farmed wines using a hands-off approach. Each release draws inspiration from Rhône varietals, aiming to craft intriguing, textural wines that faithfully represent their unique terroir while delivering freshness and drinkability. The grapes are sourced from small sections of certified organic single-site vineyards in Heathcote, characterized by their 10 to 15-year-old vines and Cambrian soil, a super calcium-rich soil with remarkable water retention.
