Since 1975, the Bricolo family's GORGO Company, nestled in Verona's morainic hills, has passionately crafted organic wines, capturing the essence of the DOC Custoza and Bardolino zones. This Chardonnay comes with a wealth of tropical delights like pineapple and mango, intertwined with delicate white blossoms. In 1975, the Bricolo family laid the foundation for what would become the renowned GORGO Company. Today, Roberta is at the helm of this exceptional estate spans 53-hectares with grape varieties like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Pink Muscat were planted, aiming to craft a diverse range of elegant and distinctive wines. Nestled in the morainic lands formed during the glaciers' retreat east of Lake Garda, the Gorgo Wine Estate graces the undulating hills above the Padana plain. The soil here, with its whitish hue, is a blend of rock fragments, pebbles, humus, and silt, boasting a high concentration of calcium carbonate and an elevated pH level. Gorgo Wine Estate is not just about crafting wines; it's about preserving tradition while embracing innovation, creating an authentic taste of the land for wine enthusiasts.
