Tasting Notes

In Carmignano, a Tuscan gem just 30 km from Florence, wine has flowed since Etruscan times. As the region's smallest DOCG since 1988, Capezzana stands out with its organic certification, letting the land speak through natural territorial yeasts. Their Sangiovese blend boasts cherry and plum aromas, kissed by oak. With a rounded palate, its medium body harmoniously blends fruit and tannin.

James Suckling

Orange zest, dried cranberries, notes of ash and tar, as well as rosemary all spring from the glass on the nose. There’s impressive polish to the strands of lightly indented tannins which are melded together with bright acidity. Medium-bodied and medium-chewy on the finish.
