The Real Review - Huon Hooke

Good intensity of colour, which is typical of Central Otago pinots, even the cheaper ones. The bouquet is slightly meaty over typical earthy and dark plum regional pinot aromas, the palate deliciously soft and slurpy, with very good depth of flavour for the money. (36% Alexandra, 46% Bannockburn, 18% Gibbston. 11% whole-bunches)
