Angove Organic
Angove Family Winemakers boasts a remarkable 130-year history spanning five generations, a testament to their unwavering dedication to producing exceptional wines with a focus on sustainability and innovation. It all began in 1886 when Dr. William Thomas Angove, a physician from Cornwall, England, planted a small vineyard in Tea Tree Gully. Over time, the vineyard expanded to nearly 300 hectares of organic vineyards. Today, the fifth-generation leadership, with Joint Managing-Directors Victoria Angove and Richard Angove, continues the tradition of combining traditional and modern winemaking techniques. Their philosophy revolves around crafting wines that originate in the vineyard and are carefully nurtured in the winery. Sustainability is a core value, evident in their organic certification, membership in Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, and involvement in the Australian Packaging Covenant. With a deep commitment to preserving their legacy for future generations, Angove Family Winemakers represents a harmonious blend of tradition, innovation, and environmental responsibility.
