Today, the family owns 50 hectares of certified organic vineyards in Alella and Tiana, where they continue to produce wines that reflect their commitment to both the environment and the land. Alta Alella has been a pioneer in sulphite-free Cava production since 2006, and their dedication to organic viticulture is evident in every bottle they create.

Mireia’s role as a winemaker is central to this vision. Having grown up in a family surrounded by wine and working with her father in the vineyards from a young age, Mireia returned to Alta Alella after studying biology and briefly working with the UN. Her passion for organic practices and sustainable viticulture led her to steer the family winery toward a more eco-conscious future, ensuring that every wine produced is a true reflection of its terroir and the Mediterranean landscape.
